DARTCC is committed to sharing EASApp with volunteer teams at no cost directly for the team as they are already volunteering to help these displaced animals. To learn more about DARTCC, EASApp and how you can help this project grow, please visit: https://dartcc.org
The Emergency Animal Shelter App (EASApp) beta version was used in 2023 in Barre Vermont by the Central Vermont Disaster Response Team (CVDART) to care for 72 pets for 26 days, documenting over 1700 volunteer hours due to flooding.
This was the first paperless shelter. CVDART used the prototype in 2024 when on the exact same day one year later central Vermont experienced more flooding.
